Root Cause Analysis because not all problems are leftover lobster problems. Root Cause Analysis takes a look at problem solving in a systematic repeatable method that Tom Fenton has used and seen used for many years. Problems in manufacturing, IT or management are serious. Others may worry about what to do with left over lobster after dinner but we know Project Managers and other in an organization have to deal with tough problems. We will learn about the terms, forms, and tools of RCA and also work together using the tools and forms during our time together. Come prepared to participate.

Tom Fenton has more than 40 years of manufacturing experience, with over 20 in a management role. Tom is currently an Operations Engineer and Project Manager for MEDIVATORS, a medical device firm in Plymouth, MN. Tom has recently started Pearl Lake Resources, a consulting company. Tom has multiple years of experience as Machinist, Mold Maker, Engineer creating plastic injection components and medical devices, Toolroom Manager and Project Manager. Tom is certified as PMP, is a Journeyman Moldmaker and has earned an MS in Project Management. Tom has multiple medical device patents.
