Keynote speaker Garfield Bowen will present information on the PMI Educational Foundation a Minnesota Chapter's annual scholarships available to both graduate and undergraduate students.

SESSION - G Factor: Do You Have It?
Each of us has the power to draw people to us or to do the opposite: repel them. Your success is directly impacted by which one you do.  This workshop gives insight on the seven most sought after characteristics—G Factors—of people in the workplace as determined by over 800 working professionals. Learn how to increase your gravitational pull at work and make others want to work on projects or teams with you, seek your advice, and be in your inner circle.

Presenter: Jeannette Grace   As a training and development expert since 1995, I develop and deliver actionable training focused on improving skills needed in every business, in every industry, and at every level in every company. My aim is to produce results by customizing training centered on your company or project goals. SESSION - I have to put up with what? A quick guide on to how to work with multiple generations in the workplace
For the first time in history we have four generations actively working together. Each generation has its own distinct characteristics, set of values, view of authority, work ethic, communication styles, leadership expectations, and work environment preferences. This interactive, fact-filled presentation focuses on identifying the four work generations, their characteristics, communication styles, preferences, and work ethics in order to find ways to work together.

SESSION - I Just Finished College! How Can PMI Help Me?
In our hyper-competitive job market, it takes a multi-pronged approach to getting starting in your professional career. A college education is key, and certifications, such as those offered by Project Management Institute (PMI) are great ways to augment your academic background. Project management is all about getting things done and is considered a core competency in any management position these days. A certification in project management, along with a college degree, shows an employer that you have the ability to set goals, the knowledge about how to achieve them, and the tenacity to follow through. Come to this workshop to hear about how PMI and their certifications can give you an edge in the market and help make you an asset to any organization looking to get things done.

Presenters: Terri Kimball and Andrea Brockmeier   Terri Kimball is a senior project manager at MTS Systems and past president of PMI-MN. Andrea Brockmeier is Director of Project Management at Watermark Learning in Minneapolis where she develops and delivers curriculum in project management, business analysis, and influencing skills, as well as manages projects.

Panel Discussion (After the sessions)
Experienced project managers will be sharing their professional journeys in project management and answer questions about how project management education, experience, and certification has impacted their professional development.
