After twenty-five successful years of growth, Uponor North America, a leading provider of plumbing and indoor climate systems, decided to become registered to ISO9001. Learn about why this decision was made, what was learned and the plans for transition to the 2015 revision of ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Speaker(s) Bios: 

Ryan Fleser has more than 20 years of experience developing and improving quality and environmental management systems in a variety of manufacturing environments. 

As a member of the U.S. ISO Technical Advisory Groups 176 and 207, Fleser participates in the development and determination of the U.S. position for international quality and environmental management standards.

He has served as adjunct instructor at the Dunwoody College of Technology, teaching bachelor's completion degree courses in their Applied Management and Leadership Program. 

Prior to Uponor, from 2009 to 2016, Ryan developed and implemented Daikin Applied’s ISO14001 certified Environmental Management System across five facilities in North America. 

Fleser is the current director of Quality at Uponor North America (Uponor) and is responsible for the quality system development, process standardization and improvement, supplier quality development, and ISO9001 oversight at five locations in the U.S. and Canada. Uponor is a leading provider of plumbing, hydronic piping and indoor climate systems in Europe and North America.
